Payments
This practice is fully
BULK BILLING for anyone with a current
Medicare card. Remember to bring your Medicare card and current concession card
for your next visit.
Home Visits
Home visits may be
arranged in the event of serious illness. A Home Visit must be arranged via
your doctor or clinic nurse.
Reminder System
Is operational at this
practice for a number of regular medical checkups you may require ie: blood
pressure, cholesterol, pap smears etc. Should you wish to be included in this
reminder system, please discuss this with your doctor. We also have a recall system in place and
patients will be notified of abnormal results but ultimately it is the
patient’s responsibility to follow up their results.
Personal Health Information
All communications and
records pertaining to patients is treated as confidential
Appointments
Should you or a family
member feel a longer consultation is necessary please inform reception. We ask
that all patients attending for and procedure (including pap smears) make an
extended consultation. Please contact reception if unable to attend.
Walkins
Generally we try to
accommodate everyone with an appointment offered where applicable butif we are
quiet and the doctor can fit you in we will accept walk ins especially in the
case of an emergency.
Telephone
If your doctor has
asked you to contact them for any reason please note that only urgent calls
will be put through to Doctor should they be consulting another patient.
Otherwise all phone calls to Doctors will be returned at the earliest possible
time.
After Hours
In case of serious
illness, after hours service is provided by the Locum Service, who BULK BILL and they can be contacted on 132
660 or alternatively contact the Dandenong Hospital on 9554 1000.
Feedback Issues
We would always wish to know if you were
unhappy with any aspect of our service however; if there is an external
complaint you may contact the State Governemt at Health Services Commissionber,
